About me
I started my apprenticeship at Silver Needles in 1994, I quickly fell in love with tattooing and developed my style over the coming years. I left in 2004 and rented a room at Studio 9, but I really wanted my own studio, so I took the plunge and opened Tanglewood Tattoo Studio in 2012.
Lockdown 2020 left me with a lot of time to think about which direction I wanted to go in. I loved having my own studio, but wanted a quieter space to work, rather than a shop environment. In 2022 I gave up the shop and moved to my registered home studio, it's the best decision I have ever made and I love working in a creative, calm and private space.

My Style
I have always loved fantasy art, my Dad always had Boris Vallejo and Frank Frazetta art books and I learned to draw from those when I was young. Art nouveau is my favourite style, particularly Alphonse Mucha and my work is heavily influenced by him. Wildlife, florals, japanese, geometrics, fantasy and biomechanics are my passion, but I can turn my hand to any style, having over 30 years experience.

My natural style is feminine; fine lines with soft shading. I love colour but am equally happy working in black and grey.
